He is a jack of many tech and design trades, with his 15+ year career spanning research, design, delivery and operations of tech products across energy, banking and telecommunications. Audrey is a smart transport advocate, with five years of experience in climate change research and advocacy. Prior to joining the Smart Energy Council, Audrey led the transport decarbonisation research at the Australia Institute. She has authored research on Australian attitudes to climate change, transport decarbonisation and electric vehicle policy, including a published book chapter comparing Norwegian and Australian EV policy. She is passionate about making transport clean, smart, safe, equitable and accessible for everyone. Audrey trained as an Al Gore Climate Reality Leader and holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Environment in Environmental Management and Climate Science.

Boyd Peters is chief executive of InvComs and one of Australia’s best strategists for companies listed on the ASX or in the process of listing, with a particular expertise in helping junior resources companies Working daily with brokers, fund managers, investor associations and media across Australia and globally his depth of knowledge and relationships make him a valuable source of information and a high quality representative for the Australian investment market. Bryce owns and runs the Melbourne based EV Transition consultancy EV Choice, and has been working in and writing on the EV sector since 2008. As EV Choice he provides personalised EV selection, charging and fleet transition advice to individuals, business, and government as well as public EV information and education presentations. In his spare time Bryce writes on EV topics for Renew magazine and through those environmental groups is involved with supports a number of community EV promotion events and information sessions. He is also the writer behind the EV car model Fact Sheets and webpage found on the AEVA (Australian Electric Vehicle Association) national website. He has owned a number of EVs over the years, plus driven many more as part of writing test-drive reports. His current drive is a Hyundai Kona electric - in which he has many times proven they don’t ‘ruin the long weekend’ – including last year driving from Melbourne to Perth and back.
Carly is responsible for developing, driving and evolving the NRMA’s electric vehicle and energy strategy, including identifying solutions to our future energy infrastructure needs. She will lead the deployment of NRMA Electric; the organisations national electric vehicle fast charging network. Carly has demonstrated experience in industrial relations, acquisitions, mergers, risk management and most importantly, achieving organisational growth and success. Carly was formerly the Executive General Manager of Yurika, responsible for the operation and strategic management of Energy Queensland’s commercial, unregulated arm. Prior to this, Carly held executive general management roles across the marketing and education sectors.
Electric Chris, YouTuber @chrisvanderstock
Chris Vanderstock is an electric vehicle enthusiast and advocate with over 16,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, Electric Chris. He is also the plaintiff in the High Court Case, "Vanderstock versus Victoria", contesting the Zero and Low Emission Vehicle Tax which has been dubbed as the world's worst EV policy. Chris is passionate about promoting the benefits of electric vehicles and his YouTube channel covers a wide range of topics related to EVs including reviews, news, and tutorials. He is also a strong advocate for making EVs more affordable, sustainable transportation, and is committed to making a difference in the fight against climate change.
Claire Johnson is a consultant to Hyundai Australia working closely with the brand on their future mobility strategy over several years. She has an extensive background in the automotive sector working in external relations for OEMs and industry associations where she has been at the forefront of advocacy for policy and regulation with the aim to drive greater EV adoption in Australia.

Paul works on reducing Merri-bek Council’s corporate and community carbon footprint. He is primarily responsible for managing and expanding Council’s portfolios of electric vehicle chargers (20+, 7kw - 80kW) and solar PV (1.3MW). He is also focussed on the degasification of Council sites, specifically of our aquatic centres. Prior to moving to Australia, Paul worked at the Carbon Trust, a London-based sustainability consultancy. Paul supported corporates such as Heathrow Airport, Vodafone, Carlsberg, AXA and Samsung. His projects included product carbon footprinting, Scope 3 reporting and science-based carbon targets.

Ed Stevens is the Co-founder of the EV subscription business at AGL. Our EV subscription service was the first of its kind in Australia and has now been running for over 3 years to become one of the largest EV fleets in the country. Prior to working in eMobility, Ed has had a diverse career which started in Engineering then transitioned into Funds Management before he took the plunge on building his own tech start-up. John Forwood is the Chief Investment Officer of Lowell Resources Funds Management Ltd, the investment manager of the Lowell Resources Fund. The Fund is an ASX-listed specialist resources investor, focusing on pre-development stage companies. John is a trained geologist and lawyer, with experience as an exploration geologist in Australia, Tanzania and Indonesia. Josh Hoevenaars is the Business Development Manager at bp pulse, where he is responsible for the strategy, business development and partnership agenda for bp’s electric vehicle charging business in Australia and New Zealand. Josh has worked as a commercial and marketing professional for more than a decade in the energy and retail industries and is passionate about using the scale and expertise of business to meet the ‘triple bottom-line’ - people, planet in addition to profit. For the past two years, Josh has led bp’s EV charging strategy and development of strategic partnerships across Australia and New Zealand – a role which helps to accelerate the electrification and decarbonisation of transport in both countries. Bringing over 20 years experience in the private sector, Karen joined the City of Port Phillip in 2017 working in sustainability, strategic transport and policy development. She is a project lead in Council integration of shared transport and emerging technology to provide the community with alternative transport choices including one of Australia’s most progressive car share services with over 200 bays in Port Phillip. She also leads the inaugural delivery of shared e-bikes and shared e-scooters in Port Phillip, working closely in partnership with the Victorian Government and other inner city Councils to deliver the metro trial of e-scooters in Victoria.

Kate Gillis has led the Peugeot Citroën Australia business since June 2020, having previously served as Peugeot Citroën Australia’s General Manager of Marketing from July 2019. Kate first joined Inchcape, the distributor for Peugeot and Citroën in Australia, as General Manager of Marketing for the Trivett retail business in 2017. Kate has considerable experience with global consumer brands in both marketing and product development, most notably some 17 years with Waterford Wedgwood, where she held the role of Marketing Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), before returning to Australia.

That's an average of 190 kilometers, every day, for almost 7 1/2 years - never once running out of charge! Paul Lock has been involved in minerals exploration in South East Asia since 2012, with his work in this region forming the foundations of what is now Pan Asia Metals. Before Pan Asia Metals Paul was a corporate adviser at Everspring Partners, a boutique Sydney based advisory firm that he founded. Before Everspring Paul worked in corporate advisory and leveraged finance roles at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Paul initially focused on corporate and single asset project finance in the resource sector before moving into leveraged finance for private equity initiatives and then into a corporate advisory role where he was sector agnostic and focused on generating corporate transactions. Pete is the National President of the Tesla Owners Club of Australia, an EV advocate and Thought Leader in the Renewable Energy industry with the primary objective of creating an Electrified community supplied by renewable sources while minimising our reliance on fossil fuel alternatives. TOCA provides services to both its members and the greater EV community through member forums, events and industry advocacy. TOCA provides balanced feedback to both government bodies and the greater EV industry to guide the uptake of electric vehicles and support services. Scott is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Driva, a digital financing platform that matches consumers with their best loan option in market. He co-founded Driva in 2019, seeking to re-shape how consumers obtain access to financing in Australia, starting with vehicle loans and more recently expanding into personal loans. Driva has since grown to become one of the fastest growing start-ups in Australia, as recognised in the AFR Fast Starters list for 2022, achieving number 3 in the Deloitte Tech Fast 50 and winning the consumer lending category at the Australian Fintech Awards (Finnies). Prior to Driva, Scott was a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company, spending most of his time in the private equity and financial services industries.

Scott has been an automotive journalist for more than a decade and holds both journalism and business degrees. Before joining carsales in January 2022, he was lead road tester for the Wheels and Motor brands, prior to which he was associate editor of Motor magazine and staff journalist at Unique Cars. Originally from Tasmania, Scott's enthusiasm for all things automotive, attention to detail and ability produce accurate and entertaining car reviews and videos has made him one of Australia's most respected motoring journalists.
Sean Sandilands has been working in the Australian financial markets for 25 years and is well recognised for finding exceptional resources companies when they are small and unknown. He then supports the company through their IPO and thereafter. With experience trading equity derivatives for HNW clients at Merrill Lynch and ABN Amro Morgan Sean eventually saw the merit in getting his own AFSL and set up STK Markets which focuses on Equity Capital Markets and Sales Trading. He has established a team at STK that have been with him for the last 10 years that focus on getting results for investors and largely invest in the “stocks of tomorrow”. Sean led the IPO of Pan Asia Metals which now has a lithium resource in Thailand (also speaking at the EV show) and in 2022 listed one of the most successful IPO’s on the ASX for 2022/23 which was Southern Cross Gold – SXG.ASX. He is currently readying another company into IPO which is also at the forefront of the critical metals – Electric Vehicle/ Battery revolution.

Tim has led Neuron’s business in Brisbane since 2020 and supported through growth of the e-scooter industry throughout Queensland and around Australia over the past 3 years.
Tim Washington is the CEO and co-founder of JET Charge, Australia's largest EV charging technology business. Tim was also the co-founder of Chargefox, now the country's largest EV charging network. Tim is also the Chair of the Australian Electric Vehicle Council, Australia's peak body for the EV industry.
If it’s on four wheels, Toby has probably driven it. From the latest supercars to rock-hopping off-roaders (or anything in between!) he loves a road trip and works on the thinking that no road is too long or windy. While most of those trips have been with diesel and unleaded, he’s an EV convert who loves the innovation and pace of change within the automotive space – and sees the enormous potential for cars powered by electrons. Vivek Dhar has worked as CBA’s lead mining and energy commodities strategist since late 2014 after working as a junior analyst for 4 years. He provides independent research on base metals, iron ore, coal, oil and LNG markets. More recently, his coverage has expanded to include Australia’s carbon, east-coast gas and electricity markets. Australia’s energy transition has been a growing point of focus in his research. Prior to working at CBA, Vivek interned at Deutsche Bank and Siemens.
